Save the Date and Join us on February 14

Mark your calendar and join The Arc of Texas on February 14 to celebrate Valentine's Day, the first day of early voting in the Texas primaries, and our first annual Have a Heart for The Arc Day! Have a Heart for The Arc is an opportunity to highlight the issues facing Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. During the interim you can have an impact! This event will provide an opportunity to learn about the key issues that may impact Texans with disabilities, and how your advocacy and vote are essential to our mission.

Zoom Trainings

In advance of February 14, please sign up and join us on Zoom for a training and informational session. We will host two Zoom sessions, one geared towards local Arc chapters, on January 19 at noon CT, and another for allies of The Arc of Texas, on January 23 at 3 p.m. CT. These trainings will provide opportunity to learn more about Have a Heart For The Arc Day,the impact your vote has on legislation that affects Texans with IDD, and effective strategies for communicating with legislators and those seeking to represent you.
