The National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services has a new resource to improve care coordination and health care access for those supporting people with disabilities who are eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare. It aims to provide states information and training material to ensure state staff, supports coordinators, and direct support professionals
understand how Medicare and Medicaid programs can be complementary, as well as support the education and guidance of individuals and families to navigate dual eligibility enrollment and ongoing benefits management.

Are you the only person (or one of a few) responsible for fundraising? This interactive webinar will look at common fundraising activities, share tools to help focus time on what works, and how to explain those decisions to your board or leadership.
To increase engagement for this population, the online training is composed of short, recorded videos called microlessons, and hosted on a web-based app called Learnie. The self-paced 12-week training combines the concepts of motivational interviewing and person-centered skills through a blend of content, practice challenge activities, and quizzes across three 5–10-minute microlessons each
week (15-30 min/week). Interested individuals will complete an online eligibility screening; participate in a self-paced, 10-week training that requires 15-30 min/week to be completed between June-August 2025; provide basic
evaluation feedback on their experience with taking the training; have a Smartphone, tablet, or desktop to participate in the app- and web-based training material. This training was developed with funding from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research.
