We're singing Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" as we embark on our biennial Tour Across Texas to visit local chapters of The Arc of Texas in all corners of the state! Join us in your region for an update on our public policy work and get tips
for advocating for systemic change in support of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Tour Dates: This Friday, June 14, we begin with a stop at The Arc of Fort Bend County. See the full schedule on our website (additions will be made as chapters confirm participation).
Who Should Attend: Folks involved with local chapters are encouraged to attend, as well as members of the broader disability community. Whether you're a self-advocate or a parent/family member of someone with IDD, we'd love to see you. These events are free. RSVP to help us plan.
Why Attend: When the 89th Texas Legislative Session begins in January 2025, we must use our collective power to educate and encourage legislators to make policies that help (not hurt) Texans with IDD.

Let’s get re-energized and prepared to keep going, together! We’ve made huge progress together over the years, but there’s still a lot to tackle to ensure friends and family with IDD have the resources needed
to live the life they deserve and choose.
